Anna galland 

Anna Galland is an organizer, strategist, and nonprofit leader with two decades of experience leading and shaping national progressive campaigns. 

She led the grassroots group MoveOn Civic Action for 7 years, overseeing a period of explosive growth and organizational transformation. Working closely with MoveOn Political Action’s Executive Director, she quadrupled MoveOn’s budget and base of donors, expanded its grassroots membership and reach into every county in the US, modernized its technology, operations, and brand, and pioneered impactful new programs. 

Her campaigns and initiatives have helped extend and defend access to health care for millions of people, protected democracy and the rule of law against accelerating assaults, and stood up for the dignity and safety of immigrants and others.

Her work in national media has included appearances on MSNBC, CNN, and CSPAN, as well as interviews and articles in print publications including the New York Times, Washington Post, Glamour Magazine, Huffington Post, and a range of other outlets. 

She serves on the national boards of Public Citizen, MoveOn, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance. She has three children and lives in the Chicago area.
